-Camera work is used in music videos to emphasis messages in the song or suggest qualities in the performer.
Editing
-Editing associated with the music promo is fast cut montage, which makes many of the images impossible to grasp on first viewing (thus ensuring multiple viewing), there are videos which use slow pace and gentler transitions to establish mood (particularly apparent for the work of many female solo artists with a broad audience appeal, such as Adele)

-If theres a montage that is extremely fast paced shots, the audience will rematch to try and make sense of it.

Direct adDress?: Taylor Swift is constantly staring straight into the camera showing direct address. The audience feel in control as they can constantly see taylor and it is like she is taking the camera with her around her life.
Singing/Artist movement: Taylor continuously looks into the camera like its a person and gives the effect that she is speaking to the camera.
Camera movement: Camera pans and tilts to different locations. Continual movement of camera however is cut slightly (audience to not think that its cut)
Editing: The editing is cut however is not shown to the audience as its shown as one shot.

Artist/song: Radiohead- No Alarms and No Surprises
Direct address?: Radiohead is always throughout the video staring straight into the camera .This shows emphasis on the artist as the audience are fixed with the lyrics of the song and not distracted by moving images/ background disruption.
Singing/Artist movement: Radiohead is in a fixed position in the video and does go into different locations.
Camera movement: Camera is in the same place throughout the whole video staring straight at the artist
Editing: The editing is not cut and is only one shot.

The pace of the song is quite slow at the beginning however builds up and gets faster. The video does not have a narrative however is contiouse with the same theme throughout.

The video uses one shot and no editing. This shows the audience the swift movement and the audience is fully engaged at all times.
