2 The opinions of the people constructing  the representation -Does the writer / photographer / presenter  like the person or not?

3 The reaction of the individual to the representation- Your personal reaction 

4 The context of the society in which the representation is taking place.-The place you live in and their social ideas.

Artists who are presented differently in the media 

Nicki Minaj is a highly sexualised artist who shows women the confidence in themselves and how to be proud of there bodies. Nicki Minaj in the media is presented as a confident women who wears outgoing outfits to present her outgoing personality. 

Star Image

-Readily recognised sign that is used in many different media forms 

- Stars can use the fact that had their image has meaning by allowing it by allowing it to be used for advertising purposes.

-A pop star is manufactured image and does not correlate to persons personality behind the image.
