Radio Brocken 2016 -Young adults/ mid 20s because the jungles are upbeat and current (conventions of pop music) 

2.What stands out about the jingle? 
-The jingles are upbeat and fun, they are repetitive and catchy to engage the audience.

Radio 4- Factual, documentary type radio, news, talk only  (Target Audience: Over 45s)
Radio 1- Music, comedy based (Target Audience: Teens, Young adults) 

What are the jingles like? 
-Sound of jingle are upbeat and current reflecting on target audience: Uses celebrities in jingle to attract viewers (Radio 1) Sound of jingle is outdated and aimed at target audience (Over 45s)

 - Presenter of Radio 1 (Nick Grimshaw)- Chatty, comedic and jokey. Presenter of Radio 4 (Sara Montague) - Factual 


BBC Radio 4: 




     BBC Radio 4 has the most diverse schedule of all the BBC radio stations. It is a ‘talk only’ radio station (no music is played). It includes radio plays, debates, comedy programmes, panel shows (about food, gardening etc), news programmes, book readings and many other types too!


BBC Radio 1:

        BBC Radio 1 is a British radio station operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation which also broadcasts internationally, specialising in modern and current popular music and chart hits throughout the day. They interview celebs and focus on community of teenagers.
